Day 1

Early morning pick up from your hotel to transfer to Istanbul domestic airport for a short flight to Izmir on the Aegean Coast. First stop will be for a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and the carpet village we learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value before finishing our day with a visit to the house of the Virgin Mary.

Izmir to Istanbul
Today is yours to do as you please. Explore the city, shop in the local markets, relax on the beach until the afternoon when we transfer to Izmir airport for our domestic flight back to Istanbul. Transfer from Istanbul airport back to your hotel.
